In 2007, IRSA had 130 on-going projects, in which has one “973 Program” supporting project, seven “863 Program” supporting projects, 3 National Key Technology R&D Program supporting projects, one mega-project of science research, 2 special commonweal projects cooperate with China Meteorological Administration, 11 National Natural Science Foundation supporting projects, 6 Youth Fund of National Natural Science Foundation supporting projects, and one key program of National Natural Science Foundation supporting project, one major project supporting by CAS Knowledge Innovation Program, 3 major direction projects of CAS, one facility development project of CAS. IRSA published 239 journals totally in 2007, in which 49 are SCI journals, 59 are EI journals, and 131 are CSCD journals. IRSA applied one patent in 2007, and has 9 software copyright registrations. IRSA gained 2 awards, one is granted by Ministry of Science and Technology of China, another is granted by The Ministry of Water Resource of The People’s Republic of China
