On 23rd March, Mr. Jinnian Wang, Deputy Director of Institute of Remote Sensing Applications CAS, met with Mr. Gilberto Câmara, the Director of Brazil National Institute for Space Research. After the brief introduction of IRSA, they had an in-depth discussion on the potential cooperation between INPE and IRSA. Both parties recognized that they have similar structure of work, researching areas and work plan. Although this is the first meeting of INPE and IRSA, they already proposed to draft a MOU. They both agreed that cooperation between INPE and IRSA would benefit both parties.　

During the first meeting in IRSA, they also paid a visit to National Demonstration Center for Space-borne Remote Sensing and Laboratory for Microwave Remote Sensing. They showed great interest in our research work.
