IRSA Forges Strategic Partnership with NMEMC

Signing ceremony of “Strategic Cooperation Framework Protocol between IRSA and NMEMC”, in conjunction with the listing ceremony of “Ocean Remote Sensing Division under National Key Laboratory of the Application of Remote Sensing Satellite” was held in IRSA on December 1, 2010. Director-General of IRSA Gu Xingfa and Director of National Marine Environmental Monitoring Center (NMEMC) Wang Yuyin signed on the protocol.

According to the protocol, both sides will deepen cooperation in the areas of ocean remote sensing cutting edge technology, remote sensing monitoring of marine environment, remote sensing dynamic monitoring of the use of sea area, and the emergency monitoring of oceanic hazards. Previously, IRSA has completed NEMEC’s project “Stereo Monitoring and Dynamic Assessment of Bohai Sea”.
