The Digital Earth and Navigation Positioning laboratory has 54 scientists and engineers，including 4 professors, 6 associate professor, 17 assistants, 18 doctors,11 masters. In our laboratory we mainly engaged in the four research directions which as follows：

First，the application of high precision geometry processing and used in navigation positioning for image. In this research direction we have 1 professor, 2 assistants, 1 doctor, 1 master. Researcher Di Kaichang presides the development of this scientific and research work 。Fellow Di Kaichang was selected by the Program of “ One Hundred Talented People ” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences ，who was a research scientist of environmental engineering civil and survey specialty department，America Ohio State University erenow. The target of research in this direction mentioned above include the Starting project of the “One Hundred Talented People” program——“Study on New Technology of Navigation and Positioning” and National Natural Science Foundation Project“Spontaneous positioning and 　mapping of vehicle Probe supported by satellite and ground data of deep space exploration”etc。 

Second，Geographic Information System(GIS) and Spatial Decision Support System。The research field consists of 1 Professor, 3 associate professors, 2 assistants, 4 doctors, 4 masters. Researcher Qiao Yanyou leads the development of this scientific and research work。The orientation of research mainly carries on researching and development of GIS and Spatial Decision Support System，concretely research fields including Urban Fundamental Geographical Sharing Platform、Cadastral Information System、Urban Environmental Protection Information System、Forest Pest Management Information System etc. The target of research in the research direction mentioned above include Project National High Technology Research and Development Plan (863 Plan) : “Research of Web Based Spatial Decision Support System” and the National Science and Technology Ministry Scientific and Technological Support plan project “ Development on Monitoring and warning Operation System of National Forestry Pest” etc 。

Third, Digital Earth and Circular Economy。The research field consists of 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 3assistants, 6 doctors, 1 master. Researcher Cui Weihong ，academician of the Eurasian Academy of Science，preside the development of this scientific and research work. The orientation of research carries on researching and development of Digital Earth and Circular Economy, such as Application Modern 3S Technology，Developing Tobacco Planting and Disaster Monitoring, Tobacco Field Planning, Planning and Monitoring；Carrying out Remote Sensing Monitoring of forest volume；Study on the Change Law of ecological environment system，prediction and evaluation the Change and Influence of Ecological Environment in the study area. The target of research in the research direction mentioned above includeComprehensive Application of Red River  Yunnan 3S integration technology in tobacco production，energy economy corridor sustainable development and ecological environmental dynamic monitoring as well as  the study on planning system and ecological city digital ecological system between china and Kazakhstan，the research task of “SINO-SINGAPORE TIANJIN ECO-CITY”recycling economy etc.

Fourth，Digital Earth And Network Spatial Information System。The research field consists of 1 professor, 2 associate Professors, 10 assistants, 7 doctors, 5 masters. Pro.Yang Chongjun leads the scientific research in this research direction。The orientation of research carries on researching and development of the Theory and the Method of modeling ,transmission, management, analyze and application of spatial information and the application of Digital Earth under network environment。The target of research in this research direction mentioned above include frontier research topic National High Technology Research and Development Plan (863 plan) --“The Key Technology of invisible service network search TB grade Spatial Information ” and ministry of public security frontier Bureau ---“Comprehensive Commanding Platform” etc。
